Communication: An important part of the doctor patient relationship. Find out what patients are saying about their eye exams. This study gives insight to how the patients believe doctors are communicating with them. It takes you through the exam process, what was asked of patients by their doctor, what the doctor checked for, and how insurance plays a role in paying for the eye exam. In addition to the overall statistics, a chain vs. independent section is also included. This survey includes several years of data trended, and is based on the AOA guidelines.
